All Olympics, All The Time

I am addicted to the Olympics. I stay up till freakin' midnight every night watching everything.
Volleyball? Yep.

Sand Volleyball? You betcha.

Kayaking? Sure.

Swimming? Am I an American?

Gymnastics? Does a bear have fur?

I did, however, hear that one Michigan transplant isn't much of a fan of the Olympics. I have requested a check of her citizen status. I think she may be secretly Canadian.

I am also requesting a recap of Jeremy's Olympic run. Please re post, Jeremy. The world needs your inspiration now.

OK, I like the Olympics but is it OK to say that I think Bob Costas is as annoying as a bear without fur? He is so melodramatic and takes all this stuff so seriously. I just want to shake him. And I could shake him. The guy is like two feet tall.

Don't shake him too hard, though. You'll get hair dye all over you like a dog shaking water off.

Oh, we are suffering from Olympic-watching hangovers around here, too. Mornings haven't been very pleasant as a result. But it's a small price to pay for rooting on team USA, right? Just doing our patriotic duty! :)

Amen, sista!

I'm a big fan of DVR-ing and fast forwarding to the good stuff....

First of all, TEAM USA!!! But no, I don't watch. I mean BADMINTON was on last night, people! Seriously? Who knew that was even a sport? I thought it was something that P.E. teachers thought up so they wouldn't have to have another day of playing Dodge Ball...

Em, we've been DVR-ing as well, but invariably something gets lopped off at the end - so we're subjecting ourselves to the sleep deprivation. It's not like I've been sleeping well at night anyhow. :)

Um, Chris hasn't made any posts in a while. I'm just sayin'....

OK, in defense of KJ...Bek, please be aware that the Olympics is a WORLD WIDE sporting event so technically, even if KJ were Canadian, it wouldn't matter, Canada is at the Olympics too...anyway, I'm just sayin'...but I agree...I've had no sleep and I'm lovin' every minute of it...actually right now I'm watching the men's beach volleyball...I love each and every moment of it...Seth and I are obsessed...so much so that we have declared that the Lindbloom sisters will be the future Williams sisters, but with less back if you know what I mean...I mean, have you seen Seth's butt??? NO??? Well, that's ok, because there's nothing there!!!
PS. when I typed in the security thing for Bek below, I had to type in "opp" he he, that's funny.

I'm just saying that if, and it's going to be proven so, KJ were Canadian, it would make sense since I haven't exactly seen Canada well represented in the summer olympics therefore she wouldn't be interested in watching them on TV.

yeah, you're probably right Bek, she's Canadian.

KJ is funny.
Chris nor Jeremy have posted. Lame.
I told Jer he needs to re post his Olmpic story...still makes me cry.
I worked until 9:30 every night this week...so I usually fell asleep by 11:30 and missed the tense moments. I HATE that. Jeremy is Tivo-ing it as well...but just about 30-45 minutes ahead so he doesn't have to sit through the commercials...but can still watch it close to LIVE. He's been coming to bed around 12:30 or 1:00.

Oh...and Bongo and Bek--YOU CAN BUY THE OLYMPIC OPENING CEREMONIES THROUGH NBC!! So, you guys and watch it again and again. Fun!

(This is Sarah...not Jeremy)

OK, sitting here after church, contemplating as to whether or not I really want to get out and grocery shop (I don't, but need to) and I"m watching the 8-man rowing team and low and behold WHO WINS THE F-ING RACE!!!! Canada!!!! Oh Canada..blah blah blah (I don't know the rest of the words)...soooo, KJ's back ladies...Gold Medal to Canada, our peace-keeping, beer drinking, hockey playing neighbors who say zed instead of z:) I like that...oh yeah and they say drama like dramamine instead of drama like dramatic;)

Oh, yeah, and Canada won some 2nd or 3rd in some swimming race yesterday too. KJ, your countrymen need you to cheer them on!
