As I sit here at 10:30 at night sipping on a Diet Coke with cherry and vanilla from Sonic I realize I have quite a list of vices. So, in the spirit of complete disclosure I present Rebekah's Top Ten Vices of all time.
10. Picking the dead skin off my heels in the summer. I have done this for as long as I can remember and it's gross. But, I can't help myself!
9. Checking email 2000 times a day. I don't even know that many people and yet I always think there is going to be something great in my email each day that I need to continually check for.
8. Chewing the cuticles on the sides of my fingernails. I didn't say this was going to be a pretty list.....
7. Peeing with the door open---but only when I am at home---and only if there is only my immediate family around---and only if I'm peeing.
6. Crime dramas on TV. My sister likes the real life crime dramas but not the fake ones. I don't discriminate. Give me CSINY or 48 Hours and I'm hooked.
5. Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. You know, I'm supposed to be on a diet but I can polish off a tube of those delicious 2 points a piece things in 3 days. But really, that's only 12 points total.
4. Talking on my cell phone the minute I sit my butt in the car. Chris teases me that I always come home with the phone to my ear.
3. Frosting. Love it.
2. NOT doing housework or cooking. I hate both but feel like I should like them both because my mom and sister are so good at them. I would rather hire someone. Darn budget.
1. Diet Coke, Diet Coke, Diet Coke. I am absolutely addicted. I only like Diet Coke in the can or from Sonic with cherry and vanilla. I hate it in the fountain without flavoring.
OK. That's it. Now you can all post your friendship resignation letters to me.... he he.

Okay, okay--here I am to stalk you too : ). Let me add a few of mine:
1. Iced tea--I drink it ALL day--from 7:30 in the a.m. on. I'm from Michigan so I drink it unsweetened which is almost a swear word here...
2. Reality shows--not to proud to admit it but I have to watch "Tori & Dean:Home Sweet Hollywood" & "Denise Richards: It's Complicated"(Sidenote: that woman sure does have a potty mouth!). And, I'm pretty sad that "The Bachelorette" just ended (but WHO would have thought she would pick Jesse? Didn't see that one comin') Yeah, yeah, I know--the couple never ends up staying together anyway but that doesn't stop me from tuning in...
3. I pee with the door open too.
4. Sugar cookies from Celebrity. Darn you, Angie for getting me hooked
Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, reality shows (Amazing Race, Jon and Kate plus 8, My Life on the D-list, Little People Big World, The First 48), cake from Texas Star Bakery, checking emails, blog reading, my planner...I'm SURE there's more. I'm Type-A and a little OCD...so basically my whole life is a huge hang up.
As I am making cookies tonight I need to ammend my list to the Top Eleven Vices....#11 Raw cookie dough---my mom would tell me and my sister we were going to get worms if we ate it. Love that.
I am with you on the Diet Coke. And yes, it has to be from Sonic. You just can't beat the crushed ice and styrofoam cup that keeps it cold, doesn't sweat and doesn't leave a ring on your wood furniture. One time I got a Diet Coke from Sonic that had big fat ice like the kind I get from my refrigerator! The horror! I was so disheartened that I felt compelled to write a letter. I explained that as a former Sonic employee (yes, I was a proud carhop in high school) I was very disappointed. I got a coupon out of it, so I'm over it now. Kind of.
Jenny--did you expect tips when you were a carhop at Sonic? I have heard both things--no tips and tips expected. Which is it? I always just give my coins if it's less than 50 cents. What is Sonic etiquette?
Oh yeah, we got tips. When I was there, we only made $2 an hour as our regular wages because we also got tips. But I made like 10 bucks an hour there with the tips...and that was GOOD money in high school. But I will say that the majority of people do not tip. Those who do tip usually just give you the coin change, but when you take so many orders out during an hour, all that change really adds up. So even just giving a dime or a quarter is great. But if they take too long with my Diet Coke, they don't get squat.
I have to say I'm partial to the Micky-D's fountain coke (enjoying the $1 for a large promotion right now while I'm sitting here). I tried to give up coke, but it only lasted for two weeks. Other vices include just about anything on Bravo (especially project runway!) and my tendency to stress out. I have trouble leaving the little (supposedly non-important) details to other people to worry about. Definitely not good for my gut.
oh. and as for peeing with the door open - a big NO! I savor the few solitary minutes a day....
Emily...I LOOOOOVE the "large Diet Coke (or Dr. Pepper) from McDonalds!" I rarely get a drink from Sonic. I just love the big straw from McD. Nothing quite matches its greatness.
I'd have to go with the cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper (sometimes diet) from Sonic.
Among others that I can't think of right away, my vices include fun fabric to add to my ever-growing stash, and hating to put away laundry. I don't mind doing the laundry, I just dread putting it all away. Weird, I know.
Peeing with the door open is a big NO for me, too! As Emma says, "I need some pwivacy." :)
WOW! I haven't read this...this is soooo good! And as for the tipping, I'm with Jenny, as a former Sonic employee as well (yes, hoppin' it baby) I agree...I always, well mostly give my change and it totally adds up!
Here are my vices:
1. sweet tea (sorry KJ...but you are forgiven, at least you are drinkin' it girl)...I'm sure someday when I become an alcoholic, ha ha, I'll be addicted to long island ice teas and my blogs will be full of so the other day slleygoes goesegboceqeo...

5. I pee door open because we have saloon doors on our potty in our bathroom so sometimes they just swing open:) ha ha ha...I know, go ahead and laugh because it IS funny that we have saloon doors on our toilet room/area! Seth hates them but as a tried and true Texan, they ain't so bad

7. stalling from cleaning (like I'm doing now)
8. in the winter...not shaving my legs...Bek gave me shave gel and a new razor JUST so I would shave!
9. Tori and Dean too...just got into it...she's too mean to him...but then again, "they" would probably say that about most of us and our men...
10. cleaning to Lynard Skynard...yep, now my TRUE redneck is showing up!
Okay, a few more:
5. An Iced Coffe that you can no longer buy. That is right...it was from the "Coffee Beanery" in Michigan and when they were going out of business, they taught me how to make it since I had been going on a DAILY basis to get them. And no, even though the Coffee Beanery is here in Texas, they don't have the drink. BUT, I make my own, every day. On bad "feel sorry for myself" days, I make 2. TOday I may have to make 2 b/c I had to go to the dentist for a crown AND a filling. Poor me.
6. Sweet Potato Fries from Cafe Express. MMMMM
7. Chewy candy. Hmmm....shouldn't admit that considering I'm looking for sympathy from having to get a crown and a filling.
8. Back rubs
9. The show "Snapped" on Oxygen. Love it. Their new spin off "Captured" is pretty good too. Sadly, I've seen all of the "Snapped" episodes so I'm hoping they make more soon.
10. Checking blogs. It's my new addiction (but maybe my cupboards would look like Angies if I didn't have this addiction...)
