So, today I went to meet Angie for lunch with the kids at MCD on N.Tarrant. I said a little prayer in my head that Kim DrusthVESTakdfnadfnlkn would be there. And, lo and behold, there she sat with cute as can be Landon! She is just as hilarious in person as she is on her blog which is different than some people who are funny in writing but not in person (I stole that description from my sister). Of course, Angie kept us rolling with her comments on "bonus" (ask her later).
My boys were soooo happy because they got three new Transformers characters from the Happy Meals (yes, we saved one from another HP that was a duplicate and Luke traded it in for a different one today). So, lucky us, we are now only missing one Transformer guy to have the complete set and if you do the math, that means we have been eating at MCD a lot lately which probably contributes to my weight gain this week. All that to say, I met KJ today!

Sorry about that! We try to keep KJ locked up:) I don't know if the rest of Texas is ready for her!
WOW! I feel like a freakin' ROCK STAR! Not only did I get a shout out...but a WHOLE BLOG post! Geez...maybe I'm a rock star AND a movie star. This feels like my day. How did I go from blog stalker to ROCK STAR? IDK...but I like it!
seriously KJ, you are a rock/blog star! I think we're all just enamored by your accent and how stinkin' cute it makes you! But yeah, it was a great day for sure...I knew Bek would be excited! YEAH! And Bek, shut up about your stinkin' weight gain, you look great!
Well, just to be clear, it was great to meet you too, Bek. Can I call you Bek? That might not be the kind of name that someone who just meets you calls you--but since I'm a rock star, you might let me. And yeah, you look great! BTW people, she only ate stinkin' fruit at Mickey D's.
What accent? I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCENT, folks.
Honestly, didn't notice an accent on Kim/Kimdonna (rock star alias).
Yes, only ate fruit but drank a large Coke and ate a cookie when I got home.
LOL...ok, so just read this interchange to Seth (the husband) he didn't even laugh...what's his problem? We're funny...he just needs to wait until the party...boy is he in for a big surprise...he just thought I was making the cake...
ROFLMAO...that one is my new favorite....because I read some to Aaron earlier tonight and he was the SAME WAY! What is WRONG with these guys? Can't they see how stinkin' fun we are? Geesh...I was cracking up just reading what everyone had written and he just sat there all serious faced. Ugh.
Yep. Rob is kind of getting a kick out of all this, but what he has found the funniest are the posts I read to him from Chris's blog about Lotrimin and candy bars and coaching 3 year old soccer. (yeah, we're reading blogs out loud to each other on a Friday night...big times in FloMo tonight). He said "now THAT's good stuff." Hmph.
I have been to MCD on N.Tarrant, Cafe Express where they have sweet potato fries, every place that sells iced coffee and Celebrity - I can't find KJ!!! I may never get to meet her. You are SOOOO lucky.
I heard there was a KJ sighting at the zoo today---and it wasn't in the monkey house! Check other blogs for more details!!
I'm telling you--I feel like a pseudo celebrity! I feel POPULAR...probably how Karen Elmer felt at a soccer game. Hmmm....
Maybe we should have a "Where in the world is KJ" game? You know, kind of like 3D "Where's Waldo?" Only, without the striped shirt and glasses. But with a baby. Maybe there could be prizes--like Rebekah has to give you a mascara or Renuzit(SP?).
I am not giving anyone any of my mascara or renuzit OR my Sally Hansen nail polish (2 free yesterday).
